Anything else?
We waited weeks to be allocated an appointment at paediatrics in the Willows, only for the appointment to be cancelled late the day before by telephone message. No explanation was provided nor an alternative date given. Attempts to make contact by phone on 6 different numbers over the course if a 3 hour period were unsuccessful. Although assured the numbers were correct by the switchboard and CReSS no one answered any of the calls. Thr helpful CReSS employee I spoke with reported that the unit was known to be experiencing many difficulties. Despite this the paediatrics website boasts of short waiting lists and also confirms the numbers I called to have been correct. So much for patient choices and an improvement on services.
