About: Goring Hall Hospital

Anything else?

I attended for my pre-op assessment on 22/10/13. It took two nurses and a doctor to inject me six times to get blood from me despite being a regular blood donor. The doctor even had the cheek to ask whether i had blood clotting problems when she struggled to get blood from me. Bearing in mind the operation was scheduled for tomorrow I was called and they requested that I give more bloods today as my bloods had been rejected by worthing hospital because goring hall had labelled the samples incorrectly. I couldn't believe it and understandably it did not give me any confidence at all with having the operation at goring hall when they could get the simplest routine tasks performed daily so wrong so I opted to back on worthing Nhs waiting list. I wasn't prepared to put my care in the hands of goring hall when I was both physically and emotionally fragile facing a major operation. Need I say anymore than that. Think carefully before choosing goring hall.
