I have recently had the experience of going to this hospital emergency dept on 2 separate occasions and the care given was completely different on each occasion. October 3rd . Met a lovely nurse in triage who went through what had happened. Shown respect as a disabled person. Treatment continued to be well looked after all through thetime I was there by the nursing staff, xrays, and drs. However this week 21st oct I had to visit again due to another fall. Dept had litter under seats and looked grubby. Triage - looked after well. Care from dr was awful. I had been sent down to ae by my gp. The dr was rude, judgemental, did not show respect. Spoke to me as if I was dirt on her shoe. Left the dept scared to go back incase I meet this dr again and now afraid that if I have a bad fall that staff are going to treat me like this in the future.
