"Cancelled operation. Again. And again... And again..."

My operation has been cancelled 3 times now. First 2 times i was either told one or 2 days jn advance buy very annoying for work purposes as i either had to use holiday or take it unpaid. I am in the veterinary industry (nurse) so i understand emergencies/things going wrong... But 3 times?! And today... Because they were short staffed! Plus its a saturday, so thats ruined. I had to take holiday next week... Or take it unpaid, but ringing my boss on the weekend to sort out the rota really takes the mick. Now i have to wait for a phone call and letter. By this time. It will be November, i have a christmas parties in november and december. Annoyed really isnt the word. Also paid for a whole days parking. Very annoying. So today i have spent three hours in Frenchay, starved!
