"My care at CCU & Rowan Ward"

About: Barnet Hospital

Anything else?

After having treatment at two other hospitals which were not very pleasant experiences I ended up being admitted to Barnet hospital as an emergency case in the CCU and later Rowan ward. Throughout my time at both I found my treatment to be excellent. I was well informed at all stages of my treatment and was treated with kindness and dignity throughout. Because Barnet hospital is not my local hospital and I live two hours away there were logistical hurdles involved in my follow up treatment. The junior doctors involved in my treatment did everything to overcome and ensure a smooth transition to my local hospital. My only criticism would be the catering organisation. Although I found the meals to be acceptable the system for ordering the meals needs improvement, I was given the wrong meals on a number of occasions. Thank you Barnet hospital.

Response from Barnet Hospital

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback of your positive experience when using the Trust cardiology services. I have already passed on your praise to the relevant staff to disseminate to their teams. Your comments regarding the catering has been passed to the catering department as they provide the hostess service to our patients at Barnet Hospital. As an organisation we are committed from learning from specific issues and from any mistakes we may have made. Hearing about where we can do better helps us to pinpoint where exactly to make improvements to the service we provide. I am confident that the catering department will review their practices following your feedback.
