"It took three times to get the result I was happy with"

About: NHS Forth Valley

(as the patient),

I had a health check done recently and the community nurse said he thought I had diabetes. He asked me to make an appointment with the nurse who tested me.

It took three times to get the result I was happy with.

Hi, there are a number of reasons that investigations are repeated, especially when testing for diabeties. There are many factors that could influence the result. If you would like clarification I would suggest that you ask your practice nurse or GP.

I hope this is helpful
