I attended the ENT clinic today, the doctor was great. He explained the treatment and how it would affect me over the next few days and weeks and that he would be writing to my GP with all this information.

I was seen on time and the receptionist was very helpful, telling me where to wait as I had never been to the clinic before.

The only issue I had was with the car parking, it took ages to find a space. When you are stressed because of a hospital appointment in the first place its adds to the pressure when you cannot easily find a parking space ad risk being late for the appointment. There is a rumour that people park at the hospital and then take the bus into town.

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I am pleased to hear of your positive experiences with the medical and support staff at the ENT clinic, which I will ensure are passed on to the teams involved.

When I am visiting Crosshouse as part of the working day I also have had difficulty parking and often think about the impact this must have on people who, as you say, are attending an appointment with all that might involve for them. I have also heard people suggest that there are some people using the car park when not linked with the hospital. I would like to ask my colleagues responsible for car parking provision to comment on your experiences so will pass this through to them and let you know (via this site) what their response is. If you would like to share your personal experience with the manager responsible then do get in touch with me (01292 513607) and will put you in touch too - I think that it is often so helpful when colleagues can hear the direct impact from those with personal experiences.
