About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Kirklees integrated community equipment service (KICES)

(as a service user),

I mentioned to my Doctor that I needed help with mobility around the house. He arranged for a physiotherapist to come and see me to carry out an assessment.

Following on from this I have had a trolley, a walker and a bed stick delivered and have had rails fitted at the side door and on the stairs.

I’m really pleased with everything and impressed that it’s all brand new.

Thank you for taking the time to let us have your feedback. I am really pleased that your doctor referred you and that we were able to help with mobility aids. Hopefully your story will encourage other people to speak to their GP and get help and support to stay mobile.
