From biopsy then on to surgery the treatment I received was absolutely fantastic. From the consultant who did the biopsy to the surgeon who operated, and the angels (nurses) who all made me feel like a princess, I felt completely safe and comfortable in their care.

The theatre nurse held my hand tightly throughout, and I didn't even get chance to thank her and apologise for making her hand numb!

What an amazing team - a week after removal of stitches I am now discharged, which is very disappointing as I didn't want to say goodbye to these wonderful, caring people.

Am 75 and this was my first experience of surgery so I was really scared, but the team reassured me there was nothing to fear and because of them they were right.

Whatever they pay these super special people, it isn't enough! I hope you will pass on my thanks to Dr Cheung and the team.

Thank you so much for passing on my heartfelt thanks to Dr Cheung and the team. This was important to me as I will never forget them and if I should need surgery at some time in the future I will not be afraid, well maybe a little but not for long. Warmest regards. ValE.
