"maternity wards"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital

Anything else?

I recently had my baby at ldrp starting with an induction and ending with a ceasearen after I failed to make progress. I was really disappointed at not giving birth naturally but felt so well looked after by all the staff I came into contact with. The midwives were so stretched but still stayed very professional, caring and compassionate and I really can't fault the care I and my baby received in ldrp, theatre and ward 1d. Its very worrying how busy they get but amazing how they all still do such a wonderful job - thankyou

Congratulations on the birth of your baby! It is unfortunate when mothers are not able to give birth as planned but hopefully that is outweighed by baby's safe arrival. We are grateful to you for providing such positive feedback about the care and service you received, the staff involved will be delighted to read your comments. We hope you and your baby are both doing well, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback at what will undoubtedly be a busy time for you.
