I and a 46 year old male and recently spent 3 weeks in The Heart Hospital to have a mechanical heart valve fitted, bypass and aortic root replacement. No words are sufficient to express my gratitude to everyone involved and I mean everyone including the surgeons, doctors, nurses, those providing the meals, those keeping the hospital ultra-clean and staff on reception. Most of my time was spent on ward 3 who were exceptional. I was never left in any doubt I would be discharged until the doctors were totally sure I was ready and was assured of any support I required once I was home. Thank you for all you did for me and giving me the opportunity to hopefully have many more years to enjoy.
