My husband was sent to A and E approx three weeks ago by our Gp for what we thought was something minor, On arriving there he was seen immediately , assessed and told he needed to go to Theatre. Within a few hours he had a major operation and was transferred to ITU where he stayed for 9 days, I can never thank the Consultant, his team and everyone in ITU enough, for without them my husband would not have survived. I was amazed at the dedication and care he was given,he was then transferred to Alexander ward where the great care he had received continued. Thank you all for the quick response at A and E, the surgeons and theatre staff,everyone in itu and Alexander Ward, an amazing dedicated team, Ps he is coming home soon. Words will never express how grateful myself and my family are ,
