"The Doctors are let down by other support staff"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

Anything else?

When after 4or 5 hours sitting in a most unfortunate waiting area I was seen by two Doctors including a consultant and given some tests that part of the service was exccelant but we were subjected to many expierierences wit our contacts with other people waiting that we woul not like to repeat ! All in all apart from the treatment itself it was a dreadful period of circa 6 hours peppered with swearing, unpleaent smells, vocal fighting and the whole spectrum of service ( from charming and reassuring to rude and brusk) from the nursing staff. Charles Dickens would have had a ball! Whiston for me in future when it comes to emergency treatment!

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that parts of your experience with us were not good. We are currently very busy and patients with non-life threatening illness or injury may wait a little longer than we would like them to. We are looking at improving our waiting area. In order for us to address your concerns about some of the nursing staff then we would need to get some more details from you. If you would like to contact the Customer Relations Team, they will be able to help. You can contact them by phoning 0151 706 4903/2265, via complaints@rlbuht.nhs.uk or typetalk 18001 0151 706 4903/2265. Thanks.
