Anything else?
For the last six weeks I have been given PUVA light treatment for my severe psoriasis at the dermatology unit of the Royal Free. When I first started treament I had a 9.15am slot but I was due to start a new job a couple of weeks after and said I would not be able to come in anymore - so she suggested that she would come in early three times a week to treat me at 08.15am to ensure I could continue my treatment and true to her word she was always there. She also did everything she possibly could to help me in my struggle with this awful disease by giving me lots of samples of different creams and shampoos, arranging consultations with Dr's when she felt I needed to see them, arranging repeat prescriptions and generally being amazingly kind and generous with her time. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and support this person has shown me and now that I have been moved onto medication I will miss seeing her three mornings a week. She is everything that is good about the NHS.
