In August l had a stroke at work on the outskirts of Plymouth. The emergency crew were amazing as were the A & E department. I was then given fantastic diagnostic treatment and care on Moorgate Ward. Everyone was calm, friendly and reassuring and made a very traumatic time manageable. Thanks so much Derriford and our wonderful NHS to whom l owe my life. Cathy

Dear Cathy

I am sorry to read of your recent illness but was so pleased to note the fantastic care you received, from Paramedics, the Emergency Department team and the Neurosurgical, nursing and support teams on Moorgate. It is great to know that the staff were able to reassure you throughout your stay and help you through such a traumatic time.

It will be my great pleasure to share your comments with all the teams involved and I know they would want me to convey their best wishes to you.
