Message from a service user

A big thank you to Simon Barnitt (Professional Nurse Advisor) and to Ingrid Hunt (Rosewood Involvement centre) who allowed me to shadow on an interview selection panel. The day at the interviews really helped me in my own recovery as it boosted my confidence and for that I want to thank Simon and Ingrid. Thanks!

Dear Trepe8,

I can't thank you enough for your posting and support with the interviews. I feel very privileged to receive the support of the Rosewood and Duncan Mac Involvement centres when interviewing for potential staff members.

The interviews on this day were for preceptorship nurses about to start their career with Notts HC Trust and having your support sets them on the right path in relation to service users and carers being at the heart of everything we do.

It is also heart-warming to know that co-facilitating the interviews has supported you in your own recovery journey and I hope attending the involvement centre provides you with many further opportunities to support the development of the trust.
