"Emergency stay, in cherry,chestnut wards"

About: Scarborough General Hospital

Anything else?

My husband had to be admitted to a ward, which took from 9.30 am till 9.45pm, to find a bed, he was spiking a temperature.promised a side ward(never happened) .has a problem swallowing, every meal time he had to remind them, about his problem. Distressing. Observations, where not done regularly. Every day he was told he could go home, by one doctor, then another one come along, no cannot go home. Waited 4hours for t.t.o.s. They hadn't bothered ordering them, Staff Permantly all round the nurses station, where they seem to stay. Awful experience. We did meet a couple of very caring professional people.
