"Wouldnt Take my sick dog to this Hospital"

Anything else?

After my partner and I had visited our GP, we were advised to go to the A and E Department of our Local Hospital. being Princess Royal, Bromley, Greater London. This was already a traumatic experience for us as my partner was loosing blood in what was thought to be a suspected Miscarriage or ectopic Pregnancy. So we arrive and sign in and get swiftly seen by the triage nurse. Then finally after an agonising 4 hour wait, full of worry and no news nor advice, a Doctor calls my partners name and we are lead through a crowded hallway with patients in beds people laying on floors and Hospital Staff enjoying cups of coffee out there favourite comedy mugs. We then get told a blood test is needed and to wait an hour for the results. So 2 hours later half the results came back. Only to be told. "Its doesn't really matter, we will get you an appointment for a scan on Monday Morning with the Early Pregnancy Unit." "Just try to relax over the weekend" we were told. So now My partner, my two step children and me leave the same crowded hallways and head to the car (Which cost me nearly £7 to park) and we agonisingly waited all weekend. Come Monday morning we are dressed, kids have been dropped to school, and emergency holiday booked from work, for our appointment with the EPU. we wait, and wait, until the decision is made to call the EPU to see what is going on as our phone call never came. Only to be told over the phone, "Oh, we wont be scanning you today, your hormone levels are Very Low, You must have miscarried.......bye". This Lack of empathy and care from this hospital has cause my partner and I great stress and heartbreak.
