Having suffered with gynaecology problems for some years my GP referred me to a consultant. What a wonderful woman! she was the light at the end of tunnel. From my first consultation with her I was confident I was in the best hands and she made the decision for me to opt for a total hysterectomy very easy. She was very straight forward, caring and professional with her advice. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on a Tuesday and was discharged only 48 hours later, amazing. My speedy recovery was no doubt helped by the wonderful staff and nurses on the ward. I still cannot believe how caring, attentive and cheerful they all our. There is a wonderful feel about this hospital and it is spotlessly clean. This was not just my experience, I shared a room with 3 other lovely ladies having various ops and we had the same amazing experience. At times we felt like we were the only four in the hospital. The food is excellent. Everyone from consultants to cleaners are professional, caring and cheery. This is the NHS at its very best. I doubt wether a private hospital could have been any better. I am now at home and I am feeling fantastic. Thank you everyone. Ellen Boulter
