"Having my first child"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

All staff from the aux nurses, midwifed and doctors were helpful, efficient and supportive.

The level of care for me and my new baby was excellent in the 5 days I spent on the ward. They could not help me enough with support and advice with the struggles I faced with breastfeeding my newborn and with major headaches from my epidural.

I could not recommend someone choosing to have their antenatal care and birth at Tameside hospital enough.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and taking the time to provide us with feedback. We will ensure that these are passed onto the teams.

Kind regards,

John Goodenough

Director of Nursing
