I attended A&E in desperation as I was in so much pain. From reception through to doctor was very impressive, and I was happy to wait the 2 hours just to see someone. The facilities are excellent and everyone I came into contact with was courteous and informed.. Thankfully the staff were able to reassure me and deal with my problem, and I was treated extremely well. It was the first time I had ever been cared for by male nurses and they were delightful. Friendly and cheerful and professional. The doctors I saw spoke to me without being condescending, [a criticism often levelled at their profession], and I was given the information I requested and had my illness explained to me with care. My experience was first class in what was obviously a very busy and demanding unit. Thank you all!
