"Health Centre Appointments System"

The Levenwick Health Centre Appointments System seems to have changed so that you have to phone at 9am in the morning in order to see a doctor the same day or the next day. Otherwise there seems to be a wait of 2 to 3 weeks. I'm concerned that it isn't always possible to phone at 9am. I work and cannot leave my desk in order to phone - I have to wait until my coffee break by which time all the appointments for the day are gone. I wonder if there is a way of being more flexible?

I managed to get a break at 9. 15 one morning in order to phone, but was told the appointments had gone. Its difficult when you need to see the doctor, (sometimes in order to prevent things getting worse) but aren't ill enough to be off work.

When I actually got to see someone it was fine.
