"Care and Sympathy when needed"

(as a relative),

My wife has cancer. The initial treatment, pre chemo, was wonderful. An extra year gained.

Cancerous lesions on the spine have now caused a pinched nerve and great pain. This was alleviated within a week by splendid communication and consideration among the oncologist, Dr Toy, our GP and Mr Hutton on the Spinal Unit, who showed exceptional understanding and who put himself out to expedite treatment.

The NHS at its best!
