What I liked
i was lucky enough to be treated on sm9. and felt it needed to be said. all the staff on this unit work tirelessly to upkeep the health. care and welfare of its patients.
from the ward sister to the lady who does the tea. it cannot be missed that the ward is a very busy unit, but the staff never stop.
nothing is to much trouble. i have been a nurse nearly 30 years. and have worked in a variety of hospitals. and been in as a patient.
but i can only praise the staff on sm9,
What could be improved
more permanent ward staff, not agency. this would create more patient/staff continuity.
allow more time to perform nursing duties.and improve staff moral. and reducing
the risk of staff sickness due to mental and physical burnout/stress.
"i was lucky enough to be treated ..."
