this is the second time i have complained about this hospital,but yet again it will fall on deaf ears.I went in for an operation and have had an infection ever since i have had it.Im in a tremendous amount of pain but telling the doctor was like speaking to yourself.I had a follow up appointment at 11am today and waited until 1pm to be seen despite having an appointment.The doctor saw my finger was/is badly swollen and going green and told me it was because i was on the wrong antibiotics.So what have they done,sent me home with more of the same? In summary the sooner they close this hell hole down the better!. Also i dont expect this message to be on these boards as the staff will probably hide it.

I would like to apologies to you for the concerns you have raised. Firstly that you feel the quality of care and treatment within the orthopaedic department has been less than satisfactory and secondly that you feel you have not been listened to. The department takes all concerns very seriously and would be more than happy to fully investigate your concerns. Should you wish for a full investigation please contact our Patient Advisory and Liaison Service on 01204 390193 with your personal details and we will ensure this happens. Please be assured that we do listen to all concerns raised and we do report all complaints, comments and compliments at the departmental governance meeting. The governance meeting is well attended by our clinical lead and matron, business manager and ward managers, specialist therapists and trauma coordinators. The meeting plays a vital role in ensuring patient safety is a priority for everyone.
