"Nursing and medical staff fine."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

(as other),

What I liked

Nursing and medical staff fine.

What could be improved

Parking a nightmare.

No spaces. Cars all over the place.

Saw one member of staff shouting at a car park attendant who was stopping her park on a pavement.

She said that she had had enough, she had been trying to park for 20 minutes, and was giving up and going home again.

I parked at B&Q.

Like all hospitals, The Royal Oldham Hospital has parking pressures. There are a number of major construction projects on site to create new facilities, and safety regulations require us to cordon off a lot of space around these buildings, which has reduced temporarily the number of spaces available. Several of these projects are now nearing completion and our work to expand the number of spaces available continues. We have recently opened some new spaces and arranged extra staff parking off-site - our new travel manager is developing a strategy to help tackle the issue.
