"Dreadful audiology appointment booking system"

My Mother was given an Audiology appointment by letter with one weeks notice. She is unable to attend without my assistance and as I could not make the date I rang to rearrange.

I was told that the next month was "full" (it happened at the end of September) she would have to go back on "the lists". Apparently this means that they will send another letter offering a date in November without any interest in whether I will be free on the day in question.

Come on guys this in 2013 not 1950!

Although this was a Boker Lane issue I had to ring Sunderland Audiology and this is an area problem, possibly bigger.
