Catalogue of things happened during my nieces stay for appendix removal. Over a four day stay she twice expert blood dripping back through the fluid drip because it had been empty for so long and had not been changed. A sample of poo took over an hour to be collected and then the personal collecting complained that it had to be sent away for testing! Same personal took a phone call from another ward who were asking if they could send a patient down. The reply was 'this is not a safe place to be tonight, it's madness and we don't have anywhere enough staff on so better to stay where they are'.... I could go on and on. I don't blame the staff but if this continues it will result in something bad.
