"F9 nursing staff very good , looked ..."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

F9 nursing staff very good , looked after you well and pleasant Saw some patients that could not feed themselves, staff took time to feed them ,Patients well cared for, so nice to see.Doctors kept you informed but didnt make known change of medication which I only found out when discharged and was issued with medication to take home . So at first wondered where some of my medication was which I took in with me and wondered what the new one was for.Had to read leaflets in tablets to understand what new tablets were for etc.

What could be improved

Sat / Sun lunch and tea, only soup pack of sandwich with some veg .Other days nice balanced choices but small portions .

Some wards are hot with windows at one side so if windows are open then patients that side in draught .

At staff change over times some patients require attention which is not always forthcomming , so some patients then become aggitated and upset.
