I took my daughter Lauren in today for s small procedure ... as my daughter was 22yrs old they still let me stay with her.... The nurses were lovely and very attentive .... I asked to see the surgeon afterwards and after his operations he came and spoke to us and put our minds at rest.... I couldn't fault the staff at every level thank you for all your help... they work very hard ....

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your daughter’s experience of our Day Surgery Department. We know that it can be a worrying time when a child requires any kind of hospital treatment, no matter how old they are, so we are glad we helped to put you at ease throughout Lauren’s stay with us. Communication is very important to us, so it is fantastic to hear that the surgeon was able to discuss your daughter’s operation with you to put your mind at rest. We will pass your praise onto the team involved in your daughters care.
