Anything else?

My grandson has been taken to this hospital numerous times by ambulance supposedly having epileptic seizures after being taken to nottingam queens they now find he hasnt epilepsy but stress related seizures after having as many as five seizures a night they think relating to an infected tooth an appointment was made for him to go to leics royal to have it removed today ! surprise surprise when they got there they were told procedure cancelled. No beds ! My grandson in considerable pain his mum at her wits end waiting for him to have more seizures he has lost over a stone in weight as he cant eat is this what you call a good service, how would you feel if it was your child, you just causing the whole family more stress.

Hi Pat, Thanks for taking the time to post your comment. We’re really sorry to hear about your Grandson’s misdiagnosis and that his operation has been cancelled, as this is unacceptable. I have passed your feedback about the cancelled appointment on to Kerry Pape, lead nurse for the department, who is happy to look into this further if you wish. To contact Kerry directly, call 0116 258 5782 or email Kerry.Pape@uhl-tr.nhs.uk. Kind regards, Communications team
