"Doctor spent time with me and explained it all"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Phone call from TRAQS offered me an appointment in 5 weeks at New Cross or two months at PRH!

However, doctor I saw at New Cross was very pleasant and prepared to spend time with me and explain it all.

TRAQS was introduced to offer patients a choice of both location and time when being referred to a specialist. As you have pointed out The Princess Royal Hospital would obviously have been more convenient in terms of location, it is also important to many patients that their condition is diagnosed as soon as possible.

By opting for an appointment at New Cross Hospital it enabled you to be seen at an earlier date and as you have pointed out you were very satisfied with the Consultant.
