Anything else?
Following my visit to the labour ward, I would just like to express my sincere thank you to all the midwifes that looked after me. Due to the commitment and hard work of the team, they put me at ease and helped me get through a difficult birth. One particular midwife even chose to not take her break in order to continue caring for me. At every stage of labour, the midwifes showed care and sensitivity to my needs, even making me a piece of toast and a cup of tea. Even when the labour ward was full to capacity, due to emergencies, the midwifes still had time to provide exceptional care towards me ( even with a smile on their face!) As this was my first baby, I was particularly frightened and worried, but the midwifes made me feel relaxed and at ease, explaining and talking me through each stage. This made me confident that they would look after me and make sure that my baby and I were in good hands. I am very grateful for all the care I was given by the team and think it's important to share my positive experience with others. The team are very hardworking and dedicated to their job, which clearly showed at this time. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby and I, through a particularly frightening and emotional time. I knew we were in good hands!
