I recently had to attend Airedale A&E with chest pains. I found both the nursing and medical staff very caring and proactive in trying to find the cause of my pain. I was then admitted onto ward 2 and again found the staff very helpful and compassionate towards the patients. I have coeliac disease, allergic to wheat and Gluten; at a previous admission at a different hospital I was left three days without any food until when they could cater for my allergy. At Airedale, a catering manager came in person and was most helpful in ensuring I was catered for. My overall experience, whilst ill, was very positive.
