Cheltenham General Hospital, Bad treatment of my elderly frail mother whist on Prescott Ward It was decided my mother needed to stay in hospital recently and was moved to Prescott ward I would go as far as to say neglect such bad practice by some staff on Prescott Ward. Her tablets dispensed and not administered. Lying about her condition/ progress. I was told lies on a Friday to support my mother’s immanent discharge in time for the weekend. Throughout my mother’s stay information wasn’t offered and we were always needing to chase updates and information changed daily and wasn’t consistent depending on who you spoke to this was such a distressing time for her and her loved ones. I wouldn't recommend the Prescott Ward to any friends and family if they needed any treatment. I'm not satisfied that the hospital staff worked well together as important requirements/requests for vulnerable individuals doesn't appear get passed on. This was a bad experience for everyone who loves our mother .Cleanliness of the area and toilets was very bad.
