Outpatient for mammogram. Member of staff was wonderfully caring,very good at telling me what was happening and what would happen after she'd made the comparison with last year's picture. Communication is so important and my member of Staff went out of her way to make this procedure as straightforward as possible. When giving me the printed instructions for what happened next she was also very clear and compassionate. This degree of sensitivity made the whole thing much easier for me. As a breast cancer survivor I very much appreciate this wonderful care. Thank you.

Good communication is so important, especially for this kind of procedure. Our cancer team scored particularly well on a recent patient survey in this area, but it is reassuring to read another example of good communication on NHS Choices. Thank you so much for sharing this feedback and we will make sure the team are aware of it.
