Anything else?
I was put on the waiting list for braces, after I declined jaw surgery due to personal reasons, the dental nurses told me that within 12 months I will be called in for braces. However, when I rang up the orthodontics department I was told that I will be waiting more than 12 months and however said that was wrong and that I would have to wait another 12 months. I was quite upset, as it felt like I was just told that to keep me happy. After that I received letter asking me if I wanted to stay on the waiting list, which I agreed too. It has now been over 2 years and I have again received a letter asking if I wanted to stay on the list. I have now lost all hope in the dental hospital and have been waiting over 2 years, I was told I would have my braces put on by 2011, its now 2013. This is ridiculous, the dental nurses and other staff should not give out time frames if they are not going to stick to them. I am nearly 20, by the looks of things I will be in my mid-30's by the time I get called in .
"constantly told another 12 months."
