"Good care from cleaners up to senior nursing staff"

About: North Devon District Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

Arrived about 5pm. Within the hour I was seen by a doctor and a course of treatment was initiated.

The care given by the staff and their friendliness from cleaners up to senior nursing staff was lovely.

One suggestion at night more quietness would be welcome to help sleep.

Dear Patient

Many thanks for taking the time to post your comments on the website. It was great to read that you had such prompt care, and found the staff so friendly during your stay.

However I was sorry to read that you found the ward to be noisy at night, and I have forwarded on your comments to the Senior Nurses for Surgery and Medicine, as they can raise this important issue during their regular ward rounds, reminding staff of the need to keep night noise down to a minimum.

Jayne
