"My operation at Circl Bath"

About: Circle Bath

Anything else?

I have had a hip replacement procedure at Circle Bath Hospital. From the start there was information given to me about the whole operation. Consultations on how it would be done, who the medical team would be, who the physiotherapy are and who the recovery staff will be. All of those people were competent and professional at all times. The accommodation was of single rooms, with very modern bathroom facility including a walk-in shower. A large screen television on the wall, comfy seating and large full width windows, making it very airy and pleasant. The food served was of a very high standard. Breakfast, lunch, and evening meal, had several options every day, and the staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, from a cup of tea at any time to altering the menu to suit a faddy person. My surgeon visited me to explain how the operation had progressed and what had to be done during it. He also made other visits to check on my progress. I would like to compliment the nursing staff, both night and daytime, for their attention to detail and the professional way in which they carried out their duties at all times. Courtesy and peoples dignity were at the forefront in any situation they dealt with. When leaving the hospital, full instructions were given on the necessary medication, times to take it and dosage. All paperwork was checked and letters to personal doctor included. I will say that my experience at Circle Bath Hospital was one of delight and great confidence building. Should I ever need a medical procedure again, and could it be done there, then that would be my very first choice. I thoroughly recommend this hospital to all.
