"DAFNE Course: Thank you very much"

About: The James Cook University Hospital / Diabetic medicine

(as the patient),

I recently went on the DAFNE course because I was pregnant and my HBa1C was 11. 2.

I managed within 2-3 weeks to bring it down to a respectable 6. 2 which I an well chuffed with.

Unfortunately this help didn't come quick enough as I miscarried my baby 1 week before starting the course.

The course lasted 5 days from 9am to 5pm which I wasn't thrilled about. but I can honestly say that without the DAFNE help my blood sugars would be appalling.

So thank you very much.
