What I liked

As I was a patient on Ward D3 it is this ward and the Clinic that I shall make my comments.
The Clinic first of all I was impressed at the speed of appointments and quality of care that I received. The staff put me at my ease as I was very scared. On admitance to Ward D 3 on the 15 January 2008 from the first moment until my release. The care from the staff, from the most junior to the most senior was second to none. I was made to feel that I was a person, not a number. I was scared to death, but the staff made me feel at ease.I hope I never have to go into hospital again, but, if I have to, I hope i't's The Royal Blackburn. If the rest of the Wards are half as good as Ward D 3 I know I shall be fine.
So many people are eager to call the NHS I must say that they should think before they speak. No matter what, they cannot be perfect all the time. I dread to think how much my treatment would have cost in other countries especially the USA I may have died somewhere else because I couldn't have afforded to pay for hospital bills. So, let's look after our NHS we never know when we are going to need it. Thank you to all the staff at the Royal Blackburn especially Ward D 3 Theresa Hindle
