"I found the service fantastic"

(as a service user),

I found the service fantastic.

I banged my head whilst in Windsor Castle last week; my partner became worried as I had pains in my head and neck.

My medical history will show I have had severe head problems before and need surgery which is why my partner was so worried.

Later that day I did start to worry myself so I called 111 services as I didn’t want to get my partner or daughter up to take me to hospital.

I was going to go to the hospital but after seeking advice from the 111 service I found there was no need to.

We need the 111 service for these reasons, if not I would have wasted ambulance and my family’s time trying to get urgent care which I did not need. I’m very pleased that it saves time and bother, only one thing could be improved and that would be the time of the call to go through and the repetitive questions every time I speak to someone new from being transferred.
