I have recently had bladder surgery in the Elective care centre and wanted to say that the treatment I received was amazing. Had medical on 27th August at ECC, prior to receiving planned surgery 14th September. I asked if I could come in earlier to get it over and done with. Within 2 days I received a phone call informing me of a cancellation which I readily accepted. Hence coming in on 2nd September. During my two day stay I was treated with total dignity and respect with staff on Mersea ward quickly understanding my sense of humour and making my stay enjoyable by taking away all the uncomfortable feeling of being in hospital and having treatment. Thank you very much Colchester General I am really grateful and will tell all family and friends about my experience Regards Peter O'Sullivan
