My eighty year old husband was sent to the Q. E. A & E by our GP as he was jaundice & very unwell. It was suspected he had a serious illness. On arrival at A & E he was seen promptly & admitted. Test were carried out & my husband was in hospital for nine days. All the staff were marvellous, they were friendly, happy & helpful. The doctors kept us informed throughout, thankfully although serious it was not as serious as first thought. Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be our 1st choice of hospital, not to mention the food was good! We would like to thank the staff of A&E & the doctor & the staff of ward 16 for all their care.
