What I liked
I wrote back in December about the number of people , including opatients in their "bed clothes" smoking just outside the main entrance and in particular around the parking pay machines. I was an outpatient on Monday (19 May) and nothing has changed. Signs are not enough it needs a physical presence to deter the smokers.
In these days of heightened awareness of hygiene issues why do you permit patients to wander arond the hospital wearing their bedclothes and allow them outside to smoke
What could be improved
Move the pay machines to an area that is not so "cosy" for visitors and patients to smoke. The area used at the moment can be viewed from the Reception so why are they not contacting security?
