I have just had eye surgery on the day case unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary, and every aspect of my treatment was superb, the nurses were 100% efficient, helpful, and caring, when discharged, one staff nurse directed my wife to a convenient place to collect me, and even walked me to my car, a young polish nurse should win a gold award for toast making. the consultant anaesthetist was tremendously caring making certain that because of my other medical complications he treat me with the correct medication, I more than likely will need further eye surgery, and have every confidence in the whole medical team. Hopefully, the staff will be made aware that patients do appreciate them.
