"A&E Running Down?"

Recently had 4 visits to A&E with my elderly mother, the last over the bank holiday weekend, very unsatisfied with most aspects. Very long waiting times 4 -5 hours typical, wrong diagnosis, wrong medicines prescribed, attitude of some of the nursing staff very indifferent, bordering on rude. I had to stay with her for 12 hours on the occasion as I felt she would be just left on her own for hours on end. Nurses would appear helpful but would often promise something only to disappear for hours and forget to return. Staffing levels seemed very low, and mostly junior doctors on. Place was dirty and very scruffy, lots of minor maintenance issues haven't been attended to the whole set up had the feel of being "run down".
