Myself and my partner would like to thank all the staff on ward 33 for their support through the birth of our son. My baby's heartbeat was high when identified on the tracer when I first came in and as the day developed the staff raised some concerns. After a sweep and being induced I went into labour very quickly but then his heartbeat dropped very low. The doctor and the team were forced to make a very quick decision which saved our baby's life. From then on the support from the staff on wars 33 in particular the senior midwife who was so warm and empathetic, and also the baby whisperer, the breastfeeding expert, who was superb! We can't thankyou enough.
