Anything else?
My 91 year old father had to wait 4 hours in the Assessment unit, with some other patients, before being seen by Dr. Had already spent 3 hours in A&E having tests carried out. He was kept in overnight for a monitor to be connected. This did not happen and was sent home with new medication today. Unable to wash or shave for 2 days as we were told nothing required for overnight stay. The same information was asked for several times and the same basic tests carried out. Inormation was clearly not passed from one department to the next. Over the years i have experince of many hospitals and this is the worst by far.The managers need replacing with people who have organising skill as the working staff are not at fault.
"Disgraceful!"
