Senior sister in Out patients wearing bright orange sundress dead flies in light fittings in HDU First words of Physio to my husband 'is he behaving' Nurses shouting to each other Out of date and dog eared magazines in out patients Staff discussing personal details in out patients reception Nurses shouting and laughing loudly as patients trying to sleep. Nurse told me where mouth swabs were so I could nurse my husband in HDU whilst he was in office chatting to colleague Two hour wait in Out patients Delay in going to theatre as blood test forgotten Medication not locked away but forgotten in my husband's bag General sloppiness, chaos, noise, grubbiness, over familiarity, poor communication skills Wrong name on husbands wrist band 15 minutes wait in scanning and then called by wrong Christian name Dreadful and nerve wracking experience. Thankfully daughter is a nurse and spoke to senior person. Never ever again
"Over familiar staff entirely reminiscent of Carry..."
